About The Position

National Vision is a growing optical retail company with over 1,100 stores. We are expanding our optical manufacturing facility and have new openings for both entry-level and experienced optical technicians. These stockroom/inventory positions offer career growth opportunities. The available full-time positions are on our 2A and 2B shifts, which operate 3 days a week with 4 days off, providing a unique work-life balance. Entry-level pay starts at $17.05, including a 10% shift differential, with additional bi-weekly bonus opportunities. We also offer a generous PTO plan and numerous other benefits.

Requirements

Must be able to read and write English

Nice To Haves

Prior order picking, inventory, warehouse or mass production experience is preferred for entry level
Prior related or optical experience is desirable

Responsibilities

Observing data on job orders
Sorting and organizing job orders
RF scanning and other department specific tasks
Printing orders, placing tickets in job trays
De-boxing lenses from the manufacturers, placing on the correct side of the tray for processing
Pre-inspecting lenses for visual imperfections, sending defects back to manufacturer
Picking frames and lenses by locating bin number on the Rx, scanning barcodes on trays and frames
Organizing job trays, sorting jobs and placing into production
Stocking duties, receiving, inventory periodically
Return lenses and frames to inventory for canceled orders
Research order failures, load new frames in DVI, process lens breakage
