About The Position

Responsible for warehouse management, storage and shipment of finished goods to meet customer demand, and ensure the account. This role involves managing the storage capacity, environment, and location planning for ARG finished goods, adhering to warehouse management system procedures. It also includes managing the receiving, shipping, storage, and inventory of finished goods, conducting daily cycle counts, and inspecting material storage quality. The position requires careful handling of goods, strict adherence to FIFO (First-In, First-Out) principles, and execution of 5S principles, environmental, and fire safety standards within the department. The Inventory Keeper will also be responsible for reporting inventory status, identifying and recommending solutions for unreasonable inventory levels, and tracking goods movement to prevent delivery delays and excess freight. Additionally, this role involves monthly (or daily) cycle counting, analysis, and adjustments, as well as training new employees.

Requirements

Ability to read, understand and comprehend documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions.
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Ability to speak effectively and interact with other team members, engineers, leadership and customers.
1 to 3 years manufacturing experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables.
Knowledge of and familiarity with manufacturing software.
Knowledge of glass manufacturing principles and process flow.
Knowledge of warehousing logistics management.
Ability to use logistics supply chain management analysis to solve problems.
Knowledge of 5S management and upgrading the level of the scene, department, and individual.
Strong ability of planning, organization, and coordination.
Strong ability of communication and persuasion.
Strong analytical ability and innovative ability.
Must be 18 years of age or older.

Nice To Haves

English and/or Mandarin language skills.
Training in glass production technology, field management, and logistics management theory.

Responsibilities

Report to the supervisor and complete tasks arranged by company leaders.
Manage ARG finished goods warehouse storage capacity, storage environment, and location planning.
Implement material warehouse management system procedures and rules.
Manage finished goods receiving, shipping, storage, and inventory.
Collect and evaluate issues from daily cycle counting.
Inspect materials storage quality (environment, expired/defective materials management) at regular intervals.
Perform inspection records and rectify unqualified items, dispose of defective items as instructed.
Ensure proper stacking of goods (heavy on light, large on small) and handle with care during shifting and tallying.
Manage finished goods FIFO based on production date/storage time and product lifecycle.
Execute 5S management, and ensure environmental and fire safety of the department.
Inform inventory structure and status timely, propose recommendations for unreasonable inventory details to reduce risks of supply shortages and overstock.
Track finished goods receiving and shipping daily to avoid delivery delays and excess freight.
Perform monthly (or daily) cycle counting, summarize, analyze, and adjust results.
Train new employees on knowledge and job skills.
Coordinate to complete any other work as assigned.
