About The Position

The Inventory Distributor is responsible for ensuring the on-time delivery of required products to each department in production. This role involves collecting Kanban requests, maintaining accurate stock counts, and participating in problem-solving initiatives. Strong interpersonal skills, a friendly demeanor, and a customer service attitude are essential for this position.

Requirements

Strong interpersonal skills: friendly and approachable for internal customers, ability to listen well, answer questions, and forward concerns to Supervisor and/or appropriate personnel.
Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to organize tasks.
Computer skills (Insight, Microsoft).
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work independently.
Physical ability to lift and handle product weighing up to 50 lbs.
Comfortable with numbers.
Innovative thinking: bringing value through new, creative, diverse ideas.

Responsibilities

Collect Kanban requests and pull required items from the stockroom.
Deliver materials to all departments.
Maintain accurate daily stock levels in purchasing software.
Identify inefficient processes and collaborate with affected individuals to develop improved processes.
Ensure safety for self and others.
Provide a friendly, customer-focused environment.
Assist in putting deliveries away when able.
