About The Position

Analytical problem solver needed at Johnstone Supply! Our Easton, PA team is hiring an experienced Inventory Data Analyst to join us full-time and enhance our inventory management strategies. Depending on experience, you'll earn $55,000 to $65,000 per year. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a field like statistics, data analytics, business analytics, supply chain management, or industrial engineering
  • 3+ years of experience in inventory, operations, or supply chain analytics
  • Advanced Excel proficiency, with knowledge of macros, pivot tables, and Power Query
  • Exceptional data analysis skills and comfort with statistics
  • Analytical problem-solving abilities
  • Working knowledge of inventory management and supply chain methodologies
  • Ability to use visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.) to present data insights
  • Comfort using inventory management software and an ERP system like SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite
  • Ability to pass a background check

Responsibilities

  • Forecasting inventory needs to maintain optimal stock levels and support company profitability.
  • Closely analyze inventory data to identify patterns and areas for improvement.
  • Provide valuable insights to management and support accurate demand forecasting.
  • Monitor inventory records, validate data, and strategically plan replenishment orders.
  • Investigate and perform root cause analysis of record discrepancies.
  • Develop strategies for continually optimizing inventory management procedures and systems.
  • Find ways to reduce carrying costs and stockouts.
  • Track metrics to measure performance.
  • Refine inventory strategies and support daily efficiency.
