About The Position

Analytical problem solver needed at Johnstone Supply! Our Easton, PA team is hiring an experienced Inventory Data Analyst to join us full-time and enhance our inventory management strategies. Depending on experience, you'll earn $55,000 to $65,000 per year. Requirements

Bachelor's degree in a field like statistics, data analytics, business analytics, supply chain management, or industrial engineering
3+ years of experience in inventory, operations, or supply chain analytics
Advanced Excel proficiency, with knowledge of macros, pivot tables, and Power Query
Exceptional data analysis skills and comfort with statistics
Analytical problem-solving abilities
Working knowledge of inventory management and supply chain methodologies
Ability to use visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.) to present data insights
Comfort using inventory management software and an ERP system like SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite
Ability to pass a background check

Responsibilities

Forecasting inventory needs to maintain optimal stock levels and support company profitability.
Closely analyze inventory data to identify patterns and areas for improvement.
Provide valuable insights to management and support accurate demand forecasting.
Monitor inventory records, validate data, and strategically plan replenishment orders.
Investigate and perform root cause analysis of record discrepancies.
Develop strategies for continually optimizing inventory management procedures and systems.
Find ways to reduce carrying costs and stockouts.
Track metrics to measure performance.
Refine inventory strategies and support daily efficiency.
