About The Position

We are currently seeking an experienced Inventory Cycle Counter to join our team in Libertyville, IL. This position is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory levels within the warehouse and production areas through daily cycle counting and inventory verification. This role supports manufacturing operations by ensuring raw materials, components, work-in-process (WIP), and finished LED lighting products are accurately tracked in the ERP system and physically located within the facility.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required.
1-3 years of inventory control, cycle counting, or warehouse experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
Experience with ERP systems preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform daily cycle counts of raw materials, LED components, drivers, housings, lenses, wiring, and finished fixtures.
Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies between physical counts and ERP system quantities.
Adjust inventory in the system with proper documentation and approvals
Maintain accurate location control within warehouse bins and production staging areas
Verify component availability for production orders and work orders
Count and verify inventory for BOM (Bill of Materials) components used in LED fixture assembly.
Monitor WIP inventory on the production floor.
Assist with material reconciliation after production runs.
Ensure proper labeling, bin locations, and part numbers are used for all inventory.
Identify slow-moving, obsolete, or damaged materials.
Maintain FIFO inventory practices where applicable.
Assist with month-end and year-end physical inventory counts.
Record counts and adjustments in the company ERP system.
Maintain inventory logs and discrepancy reports.
Work with purchasing, production, and warehouse teams to resolve inventory issues.
