About The Position

The Inventory Cycle Counter performs continuous physical inventory of finished goods, WIP, Raw Materials and Supplies. This role consistently executes quality system work procedures pertinent to the position. The Inventory Cycle Counter verifies through SAP that inventory quantities are accurate and makes necessary changes for system accuracy. They check quality assurance, assembly area, receiving and shipping docks for items not on location or staged. This role involves counting and recording the locations of all items being inventoried, calculating the number of individual pieces based on the number of pallets, hampers/boxes, and pieces. Results are recorded manually and systematically. The Inventory Cycle Counter verifies locations of supplies and launches investigative queries for missing items or items not on said location, resolving discrepancies between physical counts and system counts. They also assist in doing inventories and spot audits.

Requirements

• Ability to operate industrial fork trucks to handle pallet loads of materials.
• Ability to handle a pallet jack.
• Ability to lift 50lbs.
• Use PC and RF systems independently and effectively.
• Solve problems while paying strict attention to detail.
• Communicate both verbally and written, effectively and efficiently.
• The ability to gain a wide knowledge base of areas affecting and relating to inventory.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Maintain a positive attitude.
