About The Position

PACE Supply is a leading wholesale plumbing distributor committed to providing exceptional service and products to our customers. We are currently seeking a reliable, organized, and detail-oriented individual to join our Inventory Control team at our Distribution Center in Stockton, CA. As a member of our Inventory Control team, your primary responsibility will be to execute daily inventory tasks, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company standards. You will play a crucial role in maintaining the integrity of our inventory system by conducting regular counts, verifying stock levels, and addressing any discrepancies.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent credential required.
  • Demonstrated ability to accurately and proficiently perform duties of a Warehouse Worker I and II.
  • Possess excellent product knowledge.
  • Proficient in use of the WMS Inventory system, scanners, and HighJump.
  • Commitment to excellence and high standards.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to manage priorities and workflow.
  • Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm.
  • Acute attention to detail.
  • Proficient in MS Outlook and Excel.
  • Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
  • One to two years related experience or equivalent.
  • Certified to operate: EPJ, Order Picker, Reach, Stand Up and Sit Down lifts.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with accurately controlling and tracking physical inventory.
  • Conduct regular inventory cycle counts.
  • Functions as the primary contact person to perform stock check requests.
  • Participates in inventory process and daily audits; reviews, verifies, researches and resolves inventory discrepancies.
  • Corrects bar code issues as needed or directed.
  • Maintains and manages accurate records of quantity, type, and value of material, equipment, merchandise, and/or supplies stocked.
  • Interacts on a daily basis with the Inventory Control Manager on inventory items.
  • Maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a cooperative manner with customers, co-workers and managers.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by manager, such as backup order filling, shipping or receiving.
