About The Position

PACE Supply is a leading wholesale plumbing distributor committed to providing exceptional service and products to our customers. We are currently seeking a reliable, organized, and detail-oriented individual to join our Inventory Control team at our Distribution Center in Stockton, CA. As a member of our Inventory Control team, your primary responsibility will be to execute daily inventory tasks, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company standards. You will play a crucial role in maintaining the integrity of our inventory system by conducting regular counts, verifying stock levels, and addressing any discrepancies.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent credential required.
Demonstrated ability to accurately and proficiently perform duties of a Warehouse Worker I and II.
Possess excellent product knowledge.
Proficient in use of the WMS Inventory system, scanners, and HighJump.
Commitment to excellence and high standards.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
Ability to manage priorities and workflow.
Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm.
Acute attention to detail.
Proficient in MS Outlook and Excel.
Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
One to two years related experience or equivalent.
Certified to operate: EPJ, Order Picker, Reach, Stand Up and Sit Down lifts.

Responsibilities

Assist with accurately controlling and tracking physical inventory.
Conduct regular inventory cycle counts.
Functions as the primary contact person to perform stock check requests.
Participates in inventory process and daily audits; reviews, verifies, researches and resolves inventory discrepancies.
Corrects bar code issues as needed or directed.
Maintains and manages accurate records of quantity, type, and value of material, equipment, merchandise, and/or supplies stocked.
Interacts on a daily basis with the Inventory Control Manager on inventory items.
Maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a cooperative manner with customers, co-workers and managers.
Performs other duties as assigned by manager, such as backup order filling, shipping or receiving.
