About The Position

Neogen is seeking an Inventory Cycle Counter to join their mission-driven team. This role is responsible for performing cycle counts, analyzing variances, and recommending process improvements. The Inventory Cycle Counter will work closely with other Neogen employees and participate in physical inventories. A current valid certification for forklift use is required, and other assignments may be given by leadership.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Relevant warehouse experience within the last 5 years
  • Recent experience with Cycle Counting/inventory control, 1-3 years preferred
  • Ability to perform routine, high school level mathematical operations
  • Experience with ERP, Microsoft Office Suite, and email
  • Must be able to be certified to operate warehouse equipment and maintain that certification
  • Regularly required to talk, hear, type and write
  • Frequently required to stand; walk; sit and use hands and fingers
  • Must be able to read written words and computer screens
  • Occasionally required to reach with hands and arms
  • Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds

Responsibilities

  • Perform cycle counts based on schedule provided to Team Lead
  • Perform cycle counts on Sales Force shipping errors, where incorrect quantity is indicated
  • Analyze the variances, report on conclusions, and recommend process improvements
  • Work closely with other Neogen employees, during the cycle counts
  • Will be involved in physical inventories
  • Maintain a current valid certification for forklift use
  • Any other assignments or projects as given by team lead supervisor or manager
