About The Position

Loot Rentals is hiring for an hourly inventory crew member for our Austin location! This is an entry level position and will report directly to the Inventory Manager. In this role, one should be a detail oriented and innovative individual who will support the inventory team in maintenance and repairs. The ideal candidate will bring energy, a great attitude, and problem solving skills to Loot’s Inventory team. This is an hourly position that may include daytime shifts and night and weekend shifts. Full time hours are available during the busy season, but not guaranteed. Our culture at Loot provides a welcome home for passionate, authentic and innovative servant leaders. No detail is too small to mind and no occasion is too small to celebrate. A $500 signing bonus is offered after successful completion of 45 days (no call outs, late arrivals, or no shows).

Requirements

Power tool knowledge
Basic carpentry skills (glueing, nailing, cutting, measuring, etc.)
Work early mornings, late nights and weekends when needed
Ability to bend, walk/stand for 8 hours or more and lift 50lbs
Strong and clear communication skills
Self starter

Responsibilities

Assisting with basic repairs on inventory to ensure pieces meet Loot’s standard; some repairs require using power tools
Maintain and upkeep of furniture rentals including: sofas, large shelves, tables, rugs, chairs, and plants
Assist with inventory check ins for quality control
Navigating and utilizing inventory software
Observing safety protocols and strong detail to avoid damage to rental items
