About The Position

Cleaver Brooks is looking for an Inventory Coordinator to join their team in Thomasville, GA. The Inventory Coordinator will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, ensuring efficient warehouse operations, and supporting the overall supply chain process. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with other team members.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proven experience in inventory control or warehouse operations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Work requires lifting and pushing/pulling of material as required to count, sort, reconcile, prepare, put away or ship parts; must be able to lift parts/boxes of materials ranging from >1 pound up to 65 pounds; work requires a few simple, but rapid, hand operations.
  • Must be able to work up to 12 hours standing and walking on hard cement surface and will be required to regularly bend, stretch, stoop, and squat.
  • Must be able to work in temperature ranges corresponding with both the inside and outside ambient temperatures; must be able to access all areas of the plant both inside and outside.
  • Operation of material handling equipment required.
  • Must be able or willing to work with and properly use all necessary and/or required personal protective equipment including but not limited to, safety glasses, hearing protection, and steel-toed shoes.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Conduct regular inventory audits and cycle counts.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
  • Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure proper storage and handling of products.
  • Implement and improve inventory control procedures.
  • Prepare and generate inventory reports for management.
  • Assist in the receiving and shipping processes.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
  • Performs any other job duties as directed by Manager.
