About The Position

The Inventory Coordinator is responsible for managing the supply, storage, and accessibility of inventory items within the warehouse. This role involves performing daily cycle counts, ensuring inventory accuracy, and processing incoming and outgoing shipments. The position requires adherence to company policies, maintaining a clean work environment, and effective communication with internal and external customers.

Requirements

Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Work schedule will vary to cover days and nights and will be set by manager.
Will be required to be on an on call schedule set by manager.
Able to work in a non-air-conditioned environment at times.
Learn to operate various types of fork lift devices and cranes.
Able to communicate professionally with internal and external customers.
Able to multitask and prioritize tasks as needed.
Must be familiar with MS office programs (Excel, Word, Outlook) and willing to learn our company systems JDE, TAT.

Nice To Haves

High School Diploma or Equivalent Preferred.
1+ Years working in a Warehouse/shop related environment preferred.
1+ Years shipping and receiving experience is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

Coordinate and perform daily cycle counts.
Manage the supply, storage, and accessibility of inventory items.
Perform other work-related tasks as assigned by manager.
Conduct 5S and housekeeping tasks as required by procedures.
Comply with all NOV Company and HSE policies and procedures.
Conduct receiving, sorting, and distribution of inventory components from incoming shipments.
Load and unload trucks.
Verify that all incoming and outgoing material conforms to local and corporate quality procedures.
Maintain inventory accuracy by placing and taking inventory out of proper locations.
Properly fill out paperwork for internal and external customers.
Respond to email inquiries in a timely manner.
Assure that inventory is processed accurately and in a timely manner including but not limited to stock pull, issuing goods, and shipping material.
