About The Position

Under the supervision of the Inventory Control Analyst, this position executes and administers a coordinated lean supply support system that operates efficiently and meets the needs of clinical areas within OSUWMC. The role is responsible for stocking and managing instrumentation inventory levels across Central Sterile Supply locations and performing all related functions, including forecasting, requisitioning, inventory control, and implant/consignment management. This position also requires regular communication with clinical teams, Central Sterile Supply staff, and vendors to address a variety of operational needs. These include, but are not limited to, expiration tracking, cycle counting, annual physical inventory, par level analysis, product trials, product conversions, product discontinuations, preference card management, storage location flow, and overall organization.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED
  • Two years of experience in surgical instrument inventory management
  • Proficiency in using Workday for instrument tracking and inventory control
