About The Position

Cardinal Health’s Inventory Management function supports demand planning and customer forecasting, supply planning, product deployment and expediting, and stocking optimization to minimize costs and inventory while meeting service requirements. The Inventory Coordinator conducts inventory accuracy activities and related distribution tasks in a fast-paced environment, following established procedures and performance standards. The role is scheduled Monday through Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., or until work is complete. Overtime may be required based on business needs, potentially with little to no advance notice.

Requirements

• Ability to work at heights of 20–30 feet regularly.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to bend, reach, stoop, lift, and stand for the entire shift.
• Ability to work overtime with little to no advance notice.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced distribution environment while meeting hourly distribution quotas and performance standards.
• Flexibility, adaptability, and good multitasking skills.
• Experience with standard MS Office applications, including Word and Excel, and systems including Oracle and WMS.

Nice To Haves

• 1–2 years of experience.
• Forklift experience.
• Experience with a radio frequency (RF) scanner and/or voice-to-pick.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily inventory cycle counts to maintain established accuracy goals.
• Maintain the chase area, including cycle counting.
• Investigate missing stock.
• Identify and log damaged products.
• Remove and log short-dated items.
• Put away product.
• Perform tasking.
• Conduct root cause analysis with cross-operational teams.
