About The Position

The McCain Inventory Coordinator is responsible for administrative duties such as Daily pack-plan updates, Scheduling inbound appointments, receiving materials and ingredients in SAP systems and other SAP related tasks.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required and six (6) to twelve (12) months related experience and/or training;
  • Must have experience in Word, Excel, SAP.
  • Experience in a Warehouse environment.
  • Forklift certification.
  • Basic computer skills are required.
  • Ability to learn MSDOS/WMS program upon hire.
  • Must possess or have the ability to successfully obtain a valid McCain Foods Forklift Operator’s License.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Products, especially Excel, is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Performs inbound appointments using E2Open Transportation management system for Materials and Ingredients.
  • Tracks pack plan and changes made by production/scheduler.
  • Communicates new pack plan and other changes to Dry Supply drivers and updates daily pack plan for Drivers to follow.
  • Receives all inbounds into SAP system, checks all documents such as COA, pack slips, scale tickets and other paperwork related to the receiving of the inbounds.
  • Scans/files all related incoming documents per month.
  • Keeps area clean and orderly in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s).
  • Helps to build and promote a strong “Teamwork” environment in each individual work.
  • Communicates material shortages, late loads and all inventory discrepancies to Warehouse Supervisor.
  • Gives crew members regular pack plan guidance and inventory documents with locations and amounts needed to complete pack plan run.
  • Complete all paperwork after receiving all materials and ingredients.
  • Uses SAP system to complete inventory counts and movements.
