Under the supervision of the Supply Chain Manager or Supervisor, this role executes and administers a coordinated lean supply support system designed to operate efficiently and meet the needs of clinical areas throughout OSUWMC. The Inventory Coordinator stocks and manages supply inventory levels within assigned clinical departments and serves as the primary liaison between the Distribution & Logistics team and clinical staff to support ongoing operational needs. This role maintains essential records and documentation, including requisition dates, delivery verification, invoice price confirmation, back-order status, and implant pricing. It ensures accurate tracking and reporting of supply chain data, including back orders, manufacturer numbers, expiration dates, product recalls, and lot numbers, to support compliance and inventory integrity. The position also supports the implementation and ongoing maintenance of the two-bin Kanban inventory system and maintains all required documentation for accurate requisitioning and inventory replenishment. Demonstrates strong analytical, organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills while collaborating effectively with clinical and supply chain stakeholders to ensure seamless supply availability and operational efficiency.
