About The Position
Ensures that proper materials are in required quantities and are in place when needed in production areas. May be required to do other reasonable manufacturing duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Stand-up forklift experience
- Highschool Diploma or GED
Nice To Haves
- Warehousing experience in a manufacturing environment
Responsibilities
- Performs multiple Kanban bin checks, walks throughs and audits of assigned areas.
- Conducts cycle counting and problem-solving activities.
- Uses one or more material tracking systems.
- Movement of material from one location to the other
- Determines and initiates action plans to improve material process and flow.
- Picking and pulling needed parts to the production lines
- Unpacking material to load into Kanban
