Inventory Controller
About The Position
Namify is seeking an Inventory Controller to support its inventory control team, which connects the receiving and shipping teams. The role organizes received stock, helps ensure warehouse space is billed accurately, and maintains stock in an organized and effective manner so the shipping team can pick items efficiently. The schedule is Monday through Thursday, 2 p.m. to 12 a.m. The position involves arranging products based on sales frequency, maintaining accurate stock counts, auditing items for warehouse billing, and maintaining shelf organization and product locations. The Inventory Controller also assists with receiving and shipping tasks as needed and supports major projects assigned by the Shipping/Receiving Manager.
Requirements
- Prior inventory control experience.
- Ability to operate a forklift.
- Must have proper documentation for employment in the United States.
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen.
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members at all levels.
- Great attention to detail, including during repetitive processes.
- Ability to work standing for 6–8 hours per day.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Ability to work under deadlines and quotas.
- Ability to use computers and an iPad effectively.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds.
Responsibilities
- Identify high- and low-frequency sold items and arrange them to improve efficiency.
- Create inventory adjustments as needed to ensure stock-count accuracy.
- Assist with major projects as assigned by the Shipping/Receiving Manager.
- Audit items to determine the correct information for warehouse billing.
- Maintain locations by clearing empty shelves and organizing shelves.
- Assign locations to new and existing products.
- Assist with receiving tasks as needed.
- Assist with shipping tasks as needed.
