About The Position

Perform a full range of inventory control activities for parts, raw materials, and finished goods to support production, shipping, and receiving at Timken Aerospace — Keene, NH. Work from process sheets, prints, engineering specifications, and work instructions to ensure inventory accuracy, timely shipments/receipts, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Ability to read and understand prints, process sheets, and engineering specifications.
  • Basic mathematics and mechanical aptitude.
  • Basic computer interface skills are required.
  • Strong attention to detail along with the ability to multi-task and coordinate work activities to be efficient and productive.
  • Strong ability to follow written and prescribed work instructions/procedures and tasks.
  • Strong ability to read and interpret specifications, acceptance criteria, and engineering drawings.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; able to document processes and train others.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
  • Situational/Spatial awareness along with strict adherence to PPE/safety protocols is required.

Nice To Haves

  • Forklift certification preferred.
  • Knowledge of SAP preferred.
  • Experience with Tradesphere or equivalent licensing/documentation systems preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate inventory records by performing and verifying inventory transactions (receipts, transfers, issues, adjustments) in the ERP system daily.
  • Issue components to assembly to satisfy daily, weekly, and monthly schedules, maintaining required records of issuances and other appropriate documents.
  • Perform and document cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy.
  • Ensure products requiring licenses or special documentation are processed correctly in Tradesphere (or equivalent) and maintain associated records.
  • Prepare, stage, and ship product within required shipping windows; ensure shipments are documented and carriers verify counts, sign, and date paperwork.
  • Receive, inspect, and process all inbound shipments from carriers (FedEx, UPS, third-party) and raw material vendors; verify packing slips against purchase orders and receive into the ERP system.
  • Deliver received materials and components to appropriate internal areas or customers and update records accordingly.
  • Maintain necessary records and ensure that documentation procedures are followed.
  • Detect and report improper operation, faulty equipment, defective materials and unusual conditions to a leader.
  • Maintain work areas and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.
  • Follow prescribed safety rules and regulations.
  • Train personnel as required.
  • Perform and be involved in continuous improvement projects as required.
  • Perform other related duties as required or directed.
  • Generate and/or handle regulated (i.e. hazardous/non-hazardous) waste as part of this job and dispose of it in accordance with federal/state regulations.
