About The Position

The Inventory Control role is responsible for monitoring and maintaining accurate inventory levels of raw materials, finished goods, and packaging materials. The employee implements inventory control best practices to minimize discrepancies and losses and support efficient, accurate inventory management. This is a full-time, 1st shift position, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Requirements

Previous experience in inventory management or a related role.
Proficiency in using inventory management software and tools.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
Effective communication and teamwork skills.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to lift and move moderate loads during inventory audits.

Additional certifications in inventory management.

Responsibilities

Conduct regular physical inventory audits to reconcile discrepancies.
Investigate and resolve inventory variances in collaboration with relevant departments.
Coordinate with the procurement team to place orders for materials and supplies.
Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and quality.
Enter and update inventory data in the system.
Maintain organized and accurate records of inventory transactions.
Work with production, logistics, and procurement teams to support seamless inventory processes.
Communicate with team members to address inventory-related issues.
Generate regular reports on inventory levels, turnover, and other relevant metrics.
Provide insights and recommendations for inventory optimization.
Perform all other duties as assigned.
