About The Position

This role is responsible for working with purchasing, receiving and dispatch to ensure all inventory control measures are carried out correctly.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Office
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Possess excellent personal organization skills
• Possess the willingness to learn, improve and adapt
• Possess the ability to work productively, efficiently and with initiative and drive under tight timescales and pressure while maintaining attention to detail and quality.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain the company’s packaging materials and stocked product inventory including stock profiles and stock locations.
• Develop the company’s inventory management strategy with the aim of controlling costs and generating savings.
• Manage and control perpetual inventory stock counting/inventory accuracy checks.
• Minimize overstocks and removal of obsolete/redundant raw materials to maximize availability.
• Ensure that incoming goods are well organized, receipted and controlled to sufficiently support production and goals of the business.
• Ensure materials are ready and available for production when required.
• Ensure that any materials that are late or holding up production for whatever reason are followed up until they are received.
• Provide routing management information on inventory performance, monitor, and evaluate consumables usage and costs.
• Achieve 95% inventory record accuracy.
• Perform cyclic stock checks.
• Operate pallet jacks (hand and electric) as well as lifts for reaching top racks
