About The Position

Koorsen is hiring an Inventory Control / Warehouse Assistant at its Columbus, Ohio branch. This is an on-site role responsible for managing branch parts and inventory, entering purchase order information, monitoring stock, processing shipments, and tracking orders. The position requires professional interaction with customers, vendors, and coworkers, a willingness to continue learning, and adherence to safety practices, company policies, procedures, and core values. The stated schedule is 8:00 a.m. to 4:45 p.m., Monday through Friday. The listed salary is $19–$25 per hour, depending on experience. Employment is contingent on completing I-9 verification within three days of hire and undergoing the listed background checks. A urinalysis for evidence of substance abuse is required if the application results in an offer of employment.

Requirements

Shipping and receiving experience.
Experience with inventory control, cycle counting, and shipping and receiving.
Pass drug and background screenings.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Ability to sit for long periods.
Ability to use standard office equipment, including computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.
Ability to lift and carry a minimum of 50 pounds and push and pull more than 75 pounds.
Ability to perform repetitive motions while using a computer.

Responsibilities

Manage parts and inventory in a branch.
Enter purchase order details, including vendors, quantities, and prices, into internal databases.
Monitor stock levels and place orders as needed.
Receive and process shipments.
Track orders and ensure timely delivery.
