About The Position

Bunzl Safety Los Angeles is seeking a Warehouse Inventory Control Associate to support Distribution Center operations. The role focuses on cycle counts, accurate inventory records, monitoring transactions, reporting, and auditing inbound and outbound shipments, along with other warehouse duties. The position is onsite, Monday through Friday, from 6:00 a.m. to 2:45 p.m. Pay is $19.00 per hour, based on experience, education, and geographic location.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience with inventory control and auditing procedures.
• Administrative experience, including proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong customer service skills and ability to handle challenging situations.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds occasionally, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Ability to work at heights up to 26 feet using provided safety equipment, processes, and training.
• Willingness to work overtime based on business needs, sometimes on short notice.
• Dependable team player with strong attention to detail.

Nice To Haves

• Forklift experience; in-house training is provided.
• Previous warehouse experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Review inventory levels by vendor, category, and/or product.
• Maintain inventory levels according to predetermined standards.
• Participate in cycle count programs, research inventory operational problems, and investigate discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate records of variances and cycle counts according to established procedures.
• Monitor inventory transactions, provide feedback to the team on the root causes of discrepancies, and ensure transaction accuracy.
• Maintain shipping documents as necessary.
• Maintain the Back Orders Report and address required items.
• Work efficiently with internal departments in the branch.
• Maintain the overstock Excel file.
• Palletize and stow inventory in the correct locations.
• Perform warehouse duties in support of Distribution Center operations, including auditing inbound and outbound shipments.
