About The Position

Penske Automotive Group is looking for an Inventory Control Valet to join our team. We are hiring immediately and offering a great chance to gain experience and learn the innerworkings of an automotive dealership with state-of-the-art facilities! Our Inventory Control Valet, also called Porters or Lot Attendants, support the dealership by moving our vehicles as needed, keeping the showroom and display lots neat and orderly.

Requirements

• Able to safely drive vehicles both automatic and manual transmission
• Good communication skills
• Good customer services skills
• Ability to perform basic math
• Ability to understand and follow work rules and procedure
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
• Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices
• Ability to interact well with others
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Works well in a team environment
• Able to work well with a diverse group of people
• Valid driver's license

Nice To Haves

• six months or more of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Off transport vehicle check-in/inspection.
• Data entry into Reynolds and stock books
• Vehicle stock labels created / keys tagged
• Vehicle movement to the proper location
