About The Position

As a world leader in creating comfortable, sustainable, and efficient climate solutions for buildings, homes and transportation, Trane Technologies is looking for an Inventory Distribution Technician-Consolidator to join their team in Atlanta, GA. This is a full-time, direct hire, Safety Sensitive position on the 2nd shift (2:30 PM - 11:00 PM EST). The role involves operating PIV equipment, managing inventory accuracy, and working with freight companies. Requirements

  • High school diploma/GED not required
  • Some warehouse and forklift experience preferred
  • Must be able to lift 50lbs
  • Must have valid driver's license

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience with consolidation is highly preferred

Responsibilities

  • Safely operates PIV equipment, (forklifts, clamp trucks, reach trucks, and order pickers) to load, unload, sort, stack, and stage product
  • Locates and picks material into/out of warehouse racks and between locations
  • Ensure that all equipment in use has been inspected and is in safe operating condition
  • Work with local and regional freight companies
  • Stock and arrange product to ensure inventory accuracy
  • Enters inventory into software system
  • Ensure accuracy of part number, quantity, and other data field entries that impact electronic records of receipts, inventories, and location.
  • Resolves discrepancies as necessary
  • Ensures that pallets are stable, have appropriate height, and are free of damage
  • Prioritizes the timely delivery or removal of designated materials to meet customer needs
  • Performs training, housekeeping, and other duties as assigned
