East Penn Manufacturing is seeking an Inventory Control Technician to join our S-1 Operations team on 2nd Shift. In this role, you'll play a key part in maintaining inventory accuracy, supporting production operations, and ensuring materials and products are properly tracked throughout the manufacturing process. Responsibilities

• Conduct inventory counts of grids, plates, groups, batteries, and purchased components throughout S-1 departments.
• Material handle products to gain access for accurate inventory counts.
• Record inventory information and maintain various reports.
• Verify inventory accuracy by comparing physical inventory to system records.
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies and reporting errors.
• Partner with supervisors and team members to improve inventory accuracy through problem-solving and continuous improvement efforts.
• Monitor the movement of products between S-1 departments and other facilities using manual counts and inventory systems.
• Identify, investigate, and resolve count variances and inventory issues.
• Coordinate with Quality, Engineering, and Production teams to expedite the resolution of red tags and lab tags.
• Support materials operations while receiving direction from the Materials Department.
• Cross-train in additional areas such as Order Entry as business needs require.
• Maintain a strong commitment to quality, safety, housekeeping, and attendance standards.
• Work overtime as required to support operational needs.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
