About The Position

Assist managing and mentoring Inventory Specialists and staff. Maintain and review efficient and accurate inventory management procedures, consistent with company policy and procedure. Provide accurate and timely order entry for operations. Safeguard inventory assets to facilitate shortage detection. Initiate and maintain an efficient cycle count strategy. Maintain accurate records of all audits, counts, and adjustments. Make system adjustments as required and analyze results of counts to initiate permanent corrective actions. Follow client’s disposition of damaged and/or expired product, including shipment for destruction. Provide timely and accurate responses to Customer Service and initiate cycle count requests. Review and analyze weekly inventory report to determine error causes; initiate corrective action. Support product recall return process through physical identification and segregation of product. Responsible for running of reports, reconciliation of final count variances, and all other reconciliation activities. Process accurate perpetual inventory adjustments to match physical inventory movement, when necessary. Other duties as assigned.
