This role is responsible for supervising the daily inventory control operations to ensure accurate inventory records, compliance with company procedures, and efficient warehouse performance.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • 3-5 years of experience in warehouse operations, inventory control, or supply chain environment
  • 1-2 years of experience leading or supervising teams
  • Demonstrated leadership, resolve conflict, provide feedback, direction and skill development
  • Demonstrated ability to handle complex or unexpected operational issues.
  • Demonstrates ownership beyond assigned responsibilities.
  • Demonstrates strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Detail oriented and comfortable making decisions with limited information
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and any good computer literacy
  • Ability to lift to 50lbs

Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily inventory control activities, including cycle counts and transaction verification
  • Ensuring adherence to proper receiving/shipping procedures, and maintaining inventory accuracy through receipts, transfers, adjustments, returns, etc.
  • Assign tasks and monitor performance of inventory warehouse staff
  • Plan and oversee cycle count schedules and reconciliation processes
  • Investigate and manage inventory discrepancies and perform root cause analysis
  • Promote workplace safety standards and proper material handling
  • Provide performance feedback and support team development
  • Training staff in proper handling and documentation procedures
  • Reporting daily metrics to management
