About The Position

Nexus Brands Group is seeking an experienced Inbound Control Supervisor for their Facilities-Operations team at the Chandler Distribution Center in Chandler, AZ. This is a working supervisor role responsible for leading and executing inventory control and warehouse systems activities to ensure inventory accuracy, system integrity, and effective stock governance. The role requires approximately 70% hands-on operational activity while maintaining the same productivity, quality, and accuracy standards as the team.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in warehouse inventory control, inventory management, or distribution operations.
  • Experience supervising operational teams in a KPI-driven warehouse environment.
  • Proven ability to lead training, coaching, and performance management in a hands-on operational role.
  • Strong understanding of inventory control principles, cycle counting, stock reconciliation, and warehouse processes.
  • Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), ERP systems, and RF scanning technology.
  • Experience maintaining system master data, including SKUs, locations, and warehouse configuration.
  • Strong analytical, planning, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to perform and lead effectively in a fast-paced, floor-based operational environment.
  • Availability to work Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM, with flexibility for overtime, peak periods, and planned leave cover.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise inventory control activities, including cycle counting, perpetual inventory, stock audits, and inventory verification.
  • Plan and execute the warehouse cycle counting program to achieve inventory accuracy targets.
  • Investigate inventory discrepancies, identify root causes, and implement corrective and preventative actions.
  • Process and approve inventory adjustments in accordance with company policies and approval limits.
  • Reconcile inventory transactions, returns, transfers, and stock movements to ensure system integrity.
  • Maintain accurate master data, including SKU setup, product attributes, bin locations, warehouse mapping, and inventory statuses within the WMS.
  • Ensure new SKUs are correctly configured in the system and physically established within the warehouse before receipt.
  • Monitor inventory transactions and stock movements to identify exceptions, transaction errors, and process non-compliance.
  • Produce inventory performance reports and analyze trends to support operational decision-making.
  • Support operational teams with inventory investigations, stock availability, and system-related issues.
  • Maintain and continuously improve inventory control procedures, SOPs, and warehouse system processes.
  • Ensure compliance with inventory governance, warehouse procedures, and health & safety standards.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve inventory accuracy, warehouse efficiency, and system performance.
  • Lead team development through onboarding, training, coaching, and performance management to ensure operational capability and consistency.
  • Complete regular performance reviews and support annual evaluations for team members.
