About The Position

At Novonesis, our Inventory Control team plays a critical role in ensuring accurate inventory records, efficient material flow, and seamless operational support across the facility. As an Inventory Control Supervisor in our Wausau, WI plant, you will lead a team focused on maintaining inventory integrity while partnering closely with cross-functional teams such as Operations, Procurement, Finance, Shipping, Receiving, and Quality. Together, you will help ensure production runs smoothly and support our broader mission of delivering sustainable biological solutions to the world. In this role, you will combine leadership, operational expertise, and collaboration to drive inventory accuracy and material availability. You will play a vital role in ensuring efficient warehouse control processes and supporting production requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
• Experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or supply chain environments
• Working knowledge of inventory management systems and principles
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to learn ERP systems (SAP preferred)
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Valid driver’s license and ability to operate company vehicles (including straight truck)
• Forklift experience

Responsibilities

• Partnering cross-functionally with Production, Shipping, Receiving, Procurement, Finance, and Quality to ensure inventory accuracy and material availability
• Leading and supporting Material Handlers across multiple shifts, ensuring seamless inventory control operations
• Driving inventory cycle counting activities in collaboration with Finance
• Supervising inventory transactions, audits, and warehouse control processes
• Supporting continuous improvement efforts to enhance inventory management practices
