About The Position

Novonesis is seeking an Inventory Control Supervisor for its Wausau, WI plant. This role is crucial for maintaining inventory integrity, ensuring accurate inventory records, efficient material flow, and seamless operational support. The supervisor will lead a team focused on inventory excellence, partnering with various departments including Operations, Procurement, Finance, Shipping, Receiving, and Quality to ensure smooth production and support the company's mission of delivering sustainable biological solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
  • Experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or supply chain environments
  • Working knowledge of inventory management systems and principles
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to learn ERP systems (SAP preferred)
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to operate company vehicles (including straight truck)
  • Forklift experience

  • Experience supporting audits, cycle counting, or financial inventory processes
  • Knowledge of Sanitary Transportation Regulations

Responsibilities

  • Partnering cross-functionally with Production, Shipping, Receiving, Procurement, Finance, and Quality to ensure inventory accuracy and material availability
  • Leading and supporting Material Handlers across multiple shifts, ensuring seamless inventory control operations
  • Driving inventory cycle counting activities in collaboration with Finance
  • Supervising inventory transactions, audits, and warehouse control processes
  • Supporting continuous improvement efforts to enhance inventory management practices
