About The Position

The Inventory Control Supervisor will direct, control, and maintain inventory levels of finished goods and raw materials across all Chem-Trend North American facilities and warehouses. This role involves leading, coaching, and developing the inventory control team, monitoring key performance indicators, and ensuring compliance with inventory management standards. The position also includes leading reconciliation processes, planning physical inventories, and investigating discrepancies to implement corrective actions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, or related field, or equivalent experience
• 3+ years of experience in inventory control, supply chain, or manufacturing operations required.
• Demonstrated experience analyzing inventory data, monitoring inventory performance, and supporting corrective actions to improve accuracy and reduce discrepancies
• Proficiency with ERP systems (SAP preferred) and inventory management tools.

Nice To Haves

• 2+ years of supervisory, team lead, or functional leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct, control, and maintain inventory levels of finished goods and raw materials across all Chem-Trend North American facilities and warehouses.
• Lead, coach, and develop the inventory control team through training, performance feedback, and day-to-day guidance.
• Monitor and maintain inventory control KPIs, including scrapped material, aged inventory (2+ months), obsolete, nonconforming, and slow-moving inventory.
• Monitor off-site finished goods inventories to ensure compliance with shelf-life requirements.
• Lead the month-end reconciliation process for finished goods and raw materials across all North American facilities and external warehouses.
• Plan and coordinate annual physical inventory activities.
• Investigate inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
