About The Position

The Inventory Control Specialist works in Henkel’s Adhesive Technologies business unit. The role is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, coordinating inbound material deliveries, resolving receiving and return discrepancies, and supporting receiving operations during periods of high incoming volume. The position is classified as non-exempt and is eligible for overtime pay in accordance with applicable laws. The salary range is $58,000 to $64,000, with actual compensation dependent on factors such as skills, experience, training, certifications, and work location. Additional compensation may include shift differentials, premium pay, bonuses, or other forms of compensation, depending on role and location.

Requirements

• Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds.
• Computer proficient.
• Able to stay organized and manage priorities.
• Ability to work independently on tasks and projects.

Nice To Haves

• 1–3 years of inventory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage and perform cycle counts across designated storage locations to maintain accurate inventory records.
• Investigate inventory discrepancies, identify root causes, and make inventory adjustments as needed.
• Coordinate and schedule inbound truckloads of materials to support efficient receiving operations.
• Communicate with freight forwarders and purchasing teams to resolve receiving and return discrepancies.
• Support the receiving department with material check-in and put-away during periods of high incoming material volume.
