About The Position

In this role, you will oversee facility inventory accountability and supply management operations for detention facility equipment, materials, uniforms, sanitation supplies, and operational resources. This position requires strong analytical skills, organizational abilities, and attention to detail to support efficient facility operations.

Requirements

  • Must possess a minimum of one (1) year of experience in property management, inventory control, or a high-volume administrative role within a law enforcement or correctional/detention facility.
  • Must possess strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to accurately document and track inventory using logs or electronic systems.
  • Ability to navigate Microsoft Office products, specifically Outlook email, Word, and Excel.
  • Must possess sound judgment and perform job duties with minimal supervision.
  • Must be able to provide proof of citizenship or legal US work authorization.
  • If prior active-duty military, must provide copies of DD214(s) showing discharge condition.
  • Must consent to fingerprinting.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Clean criminal record and ability to pass a comprehensive background check and security screening.
  • Ability to pass a preemployment medical assessment and drug screening.
  • Excellent communication, observation, and report-writing skills.
  • Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure and in high-stress situations.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor inventory levels for operational supplies, equipment, uniforms, sanitation materials, and facility resources.
  • Conduct routine inventory counts, audits, and reconciliation activities to identify discrepancies or shortages.
  • Coordinate supply deliveries, warehouse organization, and inventory distribution activities throughout the facility.
  • Maintain accurate electronic inventory records, tracking logs, and procurement documentation.
  • Prepare inventory usage reports, operational summaries, and accountability documentation for management review.
  • Inspect incoming shipments for accuracy, quality, and compliance with procurement requirements.
  • Coordinate with operational departments regarding supply requests, inventory needs, and replacement materials.
  • Ensure inventory storage areas remain organized, secure, and compliant with safety standards.
