Inventory Control Specialist
About The Position
As an Inventory Control Specialist at our Menasha Distribution Center, you will be accountable for executing all inventory processes within the DC. You will work directly with the operations team to ensure inventory processes are followed across job functions in the facility. Our extensive, paid 2-week training program, paired with ongoing mentorship, will provide you with the skills and confidence needed to succeed. You’ll have dedicated support to help you apply your training to daily operations, setting you up for long-term success. WOW Logistics is a drug Free Workplace, and the Warehouse Worker position is considered a safety-sensitive position.
Requirements
- Ability to accept responsibility and account for his/her actions
- Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly
- Ability to arrive to every shift ready to work hard and contribute to the team
- Be a reliable team player with a focus on safety and efficiency
- Ability to lift 50-60 pounds safely and work in a fast-paced warehouse environment
Nice To Haves
- Previous forklift experience is a plus but not required – we’ll provide the training you need!
Responsibilities
- Pick and verify orders, build pallets, and ensure shipments are accurate using various types of Material Handling Equipment (MHE)
- Operate MHE such as forklifts and other material handling equipment safely, adhering to all safety requirements and policies
- Work independently or alongside others to meet high-demand workloads with precision and efficiency
- Receive, store, and ship products while maintain accurate inventory records utilizing RF scanning equipment
