About The Position

The Inventory Control Specialist plays a key role in keeping warehouse operations running smoothly. This position is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory through regular counts and documentation of finished goods, ingredients, and packaging materials. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential, along with basic computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel. This role also involves adjusting warehouse organization as needed to ensure efficient and accurate counts, while promptly reporting any inventory discrepancies to the Inventory control supervisor.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Basic skills in Microsoft Word and Outlook
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Solid communication skills
  • English required
  • Ability to thrive independently while juggling priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be able to pass a fit-for-duty physical exam

Nice To Haves

  • Prior warehouse or manufacturing experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Spanish language skills

Responsibilities

  • Perform daily inventory counts with accuracy and timeliness
  • Handle a variety of inventory types and configurations during counts
  • Collaborate with production and warehouse teams to ensure inventory accuracy during live operations
  • Organize warehouse areas and stage inventory for production needs
  • Ensure all inventory is properly labeled and stored in the correct locations
  • Transfer inventory between buildings and stage in designated areas as needed
  • Assist in preparing outbound inventory for transfers to off-site locations for co-manufacturing, resale, or disposal
  • Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to safely move materials throughout the facility on a daily basis.
  • Follow all safety and quality protocols, including SOP, SSOP, GMP, and HACCP standards while in the facility
  • Maintain regular, dependable attendance and contribute to a team-oriented environment
