About The Position
We are seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Control Specialist to manage and optimize inventory processes within our operations. This role ensures accurate tracking of raw materials, finished goods, and work-in-progress items, supporting production efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- Bi-lingual fluent in English and Spanish required.
- Fundamental understanding of inventory management.
- Ability to perform basic math calculations.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving mindset.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience in inventory & purchasing.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Nice To Haves
- Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Experience with aluminum or metal product inventory preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records using inventory management systems.
- Perform routine cycle counts and comprehensive physical inventory audits to verify stock accuracy and resolve any discrepancies.
- Analyze inventory trends and forecast demand to prevent overstocking or stockouts.
- Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure proper storage and handling of materials.
- Investigate and reconcile inventory variances in a timely manner to support operational efficiency and minimize disruptions.
- Collaborate with purchasing and production teams to forecast inventory needs.
- Support shipping and receiving activities, including verifying incoming shipments and preparing outgoing orders.
- Oversee the receiving, storage, and distribution of aluminum materials and products.
- Assist in developing and implementing inventory control procedures.
- Support compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Resolve issues related to delivery delays, quality concerns, or invoice discrepancies.
- Performs other appropriate duties as requested.
