About The Position
Working inside our Napa beverage distribution center, the Warehouse Associate — Inventory Control is responsible for selecting, picking, and staging customer orders for next-day delivery while maintaining accurate inventory records throughout the facility. This is a fast-paced, physical role requiring strong attention to detail, consistent accuracy, and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving discrepancies. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum 1 year of warehouse experience, including pallet jack and forklift operation
- Must be able to work with minimal supervision
- Strong organizational skills to ensure accuracy in labeling, receiving, counting, and storing materials
- Can be trained to achieve 90% competency within six (6) months
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.A.
Nice To Haves
- Minimum 1 year of inventory control, cycle counting, or stock auditing experience preferred
- Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanning strongly preferred
Responsibilities
- Picking orders and properly labeling for staging and delivery.
- Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits to ensure system accuracy
- Identify, investigate, and resolve inventory discrepancies in a timely manner
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanning equipment
- Receive, verify, and process inbound shipments; confirm quantities and product condition against purchase orders
- Coordinate with the operations team to reconcile variances between physical counts and system records
- Participate in problem-solving efforts to improve accuracy, efficiency, and cleanliness of the work area
- Safely operate and maintain warehouse equipment, including pallet jacks and forklifts
- Keep the work zone clean and orderly to maintain a safe warehouse environment
- Communicate proactively with managers and supervisors regarding inventory issues, discrepancies, or operational concerns
- Meet daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual output and accuracy metrics
- Perform other duties as requested by management
