Inventory Control Specialist
About The Position
This is a W2 role for a Fortune 500 Solutions Integrator where success and fulfillment go hand in hand. You will be at the forefront of helping businesses transform their cloud, data, AI, cybersecurity, and analytics to ensure they are future-ready. As an Inventory Specialist with Insight, you will research distribution errors reported by the Client Services team. We will count on you to provide and track a credit return number to the client services team when warranted. Along the way, you will assist with inventory adjustments and warehouse master data maintenance.
Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Strong researching and problem solving skills
- Strong math background
- Experience with a WMS system is a must
- Experience with a Forklift is a must
- Ability to communicate in and understand English to the extent necessary to fulfill/perform the essential job functions
Nice To Haves
- Good typing skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel
Responsibilities
- Count product daily according to a count schedule.
- Analyze counts for variances and perform any necessary bin to bin movements.
- Research any remaining variances for errors in shipping, receiving, locating, etc.
- Block missing product and adjust product counts in order to assure smooth product flow.
- Research distribution errors reported by the Client Services team.
- Provide and track a credit return number to the client services team when warranted.
- Assist with inventory adjustments and warehouse master data maintenance.
