About The Position

The Division of Administration provides overall leadership and administrative support for all Divisions. The Division includes the Office of Director, Communications, Fiscal, Human Resources, IT, Legal and Legislative Affairs. This role coordinates the activities associated with proper records, maintenance & repair of a large fleet of state vehicles. It provides prompt service & communication to drivers of state vehicles requiring assistance and works to ensure compliance to state & department fleet policies & procedures. The specialist will enter, monitor & track assets from acquisition through disposal and coordinate, organize & control the retention of records managed by Business Services. Participation in the successful completion of special projects as requested is also part of the role.

Requirements

  • 9 mos. exp. as Inventory Control Specialist, 64551.
  • 18 mos. trg. or 18 mos. exp. in inventory control.
  • 6 courses or 9 mos. exp. in electronic data processing related to inventory control.
  • 1 course or 3 mos. exp. in public relations.
  • Equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications for Employment noted above.
