About The Position

Tennant Company is a global leader in the cleaning equipment industry with over $1B in revenue and a 150-year history of innovation and sustainability. The Inventory Control Associate is responsible for monitoring and maintaining the integrity of warehouse inventory and storage locations. This involves analysis, reporting, and auditing/input of item/material masters. Key tasks include real-time resolution of 'Not In Location' (NIL) issues, corrective actions for inventory variances, and reviewing historical transactions. The goal is to ensure the right parts are available in the right locations at the right time to meet customer demand and comply with financial regulations (SOX).

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED required.
Minimum of 1 year of distribution or manufacturing experience.
Experience using Microsoft Excel.
Experience with equipment or willingness to learn.

Nice To Haves

Some college preferred.
1 year of Inventory Control experience preferred.
Experience with Lean Manufacturing initiatives preferred.
1 year of SAP experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Manage and complete the cycle count process.
Reconcile inventory differences and identify root causes.
Maintain accuracy of items and material master data.
Identify irregularities in daily operational processes that lead to inventory issues.
Assist with cycle counting and process audits.
Respond to and resolve NIL issues in real time.
Research and resolve problem parts in the Penalty Box/Hospital Cart.
Provide timely and appropriate reporting of requested metrics and KPIs.
Engage in continuous improvement and 5S initiatives.
Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor/management.
