As an Inventory Control Specialist, you’ll be part of our Plastics team working as an on-site employee. You’ll get to maintain inventory accuracy in warehouses by monitoring negative inventory, conducting root cause analysis for discrepancies, and performing cycle counts according to SBD policy. You will also carry out receiving functions as needed, including handling receivers for drop ship materials and maintaining quarantine locations. The integrity of QA and outside warehouse locations is preserved by generating, sharing, and reviewing relevant reports. MUV reviews are conducted, including attending meetings to ensure proper oversight of materials. Work orders and sub-supplier processes are verified and coordinated daily with other departments. Requisition requests are processed promptly, and invoice dashboard maintenance is performed to ensure accurate financial tracking. Metrics are calculated and posted regularly, and all incoming packing concern sheets are documented, reported, and followed up. IPS uploads for CPD Freight and maintenance of materials in the BFLSH location in JDE are managed efficiently. Sales orders are entered, coordinated, and scheduled, while scrap requests from QA are processed weekly upon approval. The role includes assisting other facilities with work order corrections, coordinating excess and obsolete write-offs and disposal, supporting inventory control best practices, ensuring compliance, participating in weekly leadership reviews, and performing other duties as assigned, including working overtime when required.
