About The Position

The Inventory Control Specialist receives cannabis products into the warehouse accurately and promptly, and controls product movement in the WMS/ERP system. The role requires adaptability to the changing cannabis industry, attention to detail, and strong organization and problem-solving skills. The specialist works with the Warehouse Manager to improve stocking procedures and order-fulfillment efficiency, and regularly audits inventory and reports on its accuracy.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience handling live inventory and WMS/ERP systems.
• At least 1 year of experience with METRC from an auditing perspective.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Proficient knowledge of warehouse inventory management through WMS software.
• Ability to create more efficient processes from scratch.
• Ability to generate solutions to problems as they arise.

Nice To Haves

• Forklift certification.

Responsibilities

• Receive shipments, check for damage, and sort stock for distribution.
• Maintain records of purchases received into the facility.
• Conduct inventory audits and cycle counts.
• Control the movement of merchandise in the warehouse.
• Work with the Warehouse Manager to devise stocking procedures and improve order-fulfillment pick-rate efficiencies.
• Audit the facility's entire inventory regularly and provide accuracy reports to management.
