This role is responsible for maintaining efficient and accurate inventory management procedures in line with company policies. The specialist will safeguard inventory assets to facilitate shortage detection, maintain accurate records of all audits, counts, and adjustments, and make necessary system adjustments. They will analyze count results to initiate corrective actions and follow client directives for damaged or expired products, including shipment and destruction. The position also involves providing timely responses to customer service and cycle count requests, supporting product recall processes, and running reports for reconciliation of variances. Maintaining product identification and location programs, researching and reconciling inventory discrepancies, and a strong attention to detail are key aspects of this role. Other duties as assigned.
