About The Position

The Inventory Control Clerk is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, monitoring stock levels, supporting cycle counts, investigating inventory discrepancies, and assisting with the efficient flow of materials throughout the organization. This role also includes shipping to customers and suppliers, receiving materials for engine builds into the system and notification to requisitioners when product is available.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 1-3 years of inventory, warehouse, purchasing, or manufacturing experience preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Basic understanding of inventory control principles
  • Experience with ERP/MRP/Excel systems preferred
  • Strong organizational and recordkeeping skills
  • Ability to perform basic data analysis and reporting
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Knowledge of cycle counting procedures
  • Understanding of Bill of Materials (BOMs), routings, and production processes
  • Experience with barcode systems and inventory scanning tools

Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate inventory records in ERP/MRP/Excel systems
  • Perform daily inventory transactions including receipts, issues, transfers, and adjustments
  • Conduct cycle counts and physical inventory audits
  • Investigate inventory discrepancies and identify root causes
  • Assist with inventory reconciliation and reporting
  • Ship to customers and suppliers
  • Support purchasing and materials teams with inventory data
  • Receive all engine build inventory items
  • Process incoming material documentation and verify quantities
  • Label, organize, and maintain inventory locations
  • Assist with warehouse organization and material identification
  • Communicate inventory concerns to purchasing, production, and management teams
