About The Position

The ICQA Associate is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of all inventory processes within the facility. This role requires proficiency in inventory management systems, strong analytical and critical-thinking skills, and the ability to conduct thorough investigations to resolve discrepancies. The ICQA Associate plays a key role in maintaining accurate stock levels through physical inventory counts, cycle counts, and consolidations, while supporting operational excellence and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in inventory control, ICQA, or related warehouse operations.
  • Proficient and knowledgeable in conducting physical inventory, cycle counts, consolidations, and inventory investigations.
  • 1 year of experience in a warehouse setting with exposure to inventory control initiatives.
  • Strong critical-thinking skills with the ability to analyze data and solve problems effectively.
  • Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel proficiency required).
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to lift, move, and handle products up to facility requirements.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with lean processes, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Knowledge of safety compliance and warehouse best practices.
  • Spanish Speaker preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular physical inventory counts and cycle counts to verify product accuracy and stock levels.
  • Perform inventory consolidations to maximize space utilization and ensure system alignment.
  • Investigate inventory discrepancies, perform root cause analysis, and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) to track, monitor, and report inventory data.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all inventory transactions, adjustments, and audits.
  • Support quality assurance checks to ensure products meet company and customer standards.
  • Collaborate with operations, receiving, and shipping teams to identify and resolve inventory-related issues.
  • Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) to improve inventory accuracy and process efficiency.
  • Monitor and analyze inventory trends to identify risks, shrinkage, or inefficiencies.
  • Assist in preparing inventory reports for management review.
  • Comply with all safety, quality, and operational standards within the facility.
