About The Position

As an Inventory Control Planner, you’ll be part of our Mission team working as an onsite employee. You’ll get to implement and uphold robust inventory processes to ensure data integrity and effectiveness. You will prepare and deliver monthly reports on stock discrepancies, highlighting key findings and corrective actions. You will also facilitate weekly reporting and data analysis for inventory control activities, execute inventory adjustments following rigorous cycle counting to maintain high accuracy levels, and perform variance analysis on inventory adjustments to identify, address and mitigate stock discrepancies. You will investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies through comprehensive root-cause analysis, maintain accurate, auditable, and secure records – both physical and electronic- for all inventory transactions, and ensure precise inventory reconciliation by collaborating closely with Receiving teams. You will partner with the Controllership team to ensure the accuracy and timely completion of all inventory adjustments, support and facilitate internal and external audit processes related to inventory control, and lead and assist in the annual physical inventory process, ensuring compliance and accuracy. Additionally, you will drive and support process improvements in receiving, warehousing, and shipping to enhance inventory accuracy, optimize safety stock levels, coverage profiles, and planning parameters to align manufacturing capacity with evolving customer demand. You will serve as the primary point of contact for cross-functional teams, providing real-time updates on inventory levels, stockouts, and lead times, strategically monitor and adjust production schedules to balance manufacturing capacity with customer requirements, and contribute to the continuous improvement of standard operating procedures to maximize productivity and efficiency. You will also perform additional duties as assigned to meet the business needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Engineering or related field required.
  • Minimum of four years of experience with a proven record of driving significant performance improvement.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to effectively prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Experience with SAP, WebDynPro and Manufacturing Reporting systems.
  • Demonstrated organizational, time management skills, and the ability to handle multiple tasks at once.
  • Strong analytical, quantitative and problem-solving skills; critical thinker with attention to detail.
  • Independent, highly motivated self-starter.
  • Continuous improvement mindset (KPI / metric focused).
  • Strong and demonstrated ability to multi-task while remaining highly organized.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel (Including VLOOKUP, pivot tables), word and PowerPoint.
  • Prior experience with inventory reconciliations and variance resolution.
