About The Position

The Inventory Control Planner will be part of the Mission team, working as an onsite employee. This role involves implementing and upholding robust inventory processes, preparing monthly and weekly reports on stock discrepancies, executing inventory adjustments through cycle counting, performing variance analysis, investigating and resolving discrepancies, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring precise inventory reconciliation. The planner will also collaborate with the Controllership team, support audits, lead physical inventory processes, and drive process improvements in receiving, warehousing, and shipping to enhance inventory accuracy. Additionally, the role involves optimizing safety stock levels, serving as a point of contact for cross-functional teams, monitoring and adjusting production schedules, and contributing to the continuous improvement of standard operating procedures.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Engineering or related field required.
  • Minimum of four years of experience with a proven record of driving significant performance improvement.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to effectively prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Experience with SAP, WebDynPro and Manufacturing Reporting systems.
  • Demonstrated organizational, time management skills, and the ability to handle multiple tasks at once.
  • Strong analytical, quantitative and problem-solving skills; critical thinker with attention to detail.
  • Independent, highly motivated self-starter.

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel (Including VLOOKUP, pivot tables), word and PowerPoint.
  • Prior experience with inventory reconciliations and variance resolution.

Responsibilities

  • Implement and uphold robust inventory processes to ensure data integrity and effectiveness.
  • Prepare and deliver monthly reports on stock discrepancies, highlighting key findings and corrective actions.
  • Facilitate weekly reporting and data analysis for inventory control activities.
  • Executes inventory adjustments following rigorous cycle counting to maintain high accuracy levels.
  • Performs variance analysis on inventory adjustments to identify, address and mitigate stock discrepancies.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies through comprehensive root-cause analysis.
  • Maintain accurate, auditable, and secure records – both physical and electronic- for all inventory transactions.
  • Ensure precise inventory reconciliation by collaborating closely with Receiving teams.
  • Partner with the Controllership team to ensure the accuracy and timely completion of all inventory adjustments.
  • Support and facilitate internal and external audit processes related to inventory control.
  • Lead and assist in the annual physical inventory process, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
  • Drive and support process improvements in receiving, warehousing, and shipping to enhance inventory accuracy.
  • Optimize safety stock levels, coverage profiles, and planning parameters to align manufacturing capacity with evolving customer demand.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for cross-functional teams, providing real-time updates on inventory levels, stockouts, and lead times.
  • Strategically monitor and adjust production schedules to balance manufacturing capacity with customer requirements.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of standard operating procedures to maximize productivity and efficiency.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to meet the business needs.
