Inventory Control Material Movement Specialist

About The Position

Own the movement of materials from receiving to storage to assembly to shipment—keeping counts tight and orders on time. This role has a direct impact on inventory accuracy and on-time shipments. It is a hands-on role with clear processes, modern tools, and cross-functional collaboration. This position is a safety-sensitive position. The position requires operating or working around heavy equipment, which if performed while under the influence of drugs (including marijuana) or alcohol could result in errors in judgment, inattentiveness or diminished coordination, dexterity or composure that could in turn result in mistakes that would endanger the health and safety of you and others.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 6–12 months on material handling equipment and 1–3 months related work experience.
• Knowledge of warehouse product flow and the significance of precise inventory transactions.
• Ability to use or learn RF scanners and tablets; solid basic computer skills (data entry).
• Experience with ERP systems (Epicor preferred).
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions; basic math proficiency; dependable work ethic.
• Team-oriented with the ability to work independently when needed.
• Comfortable with basic hand tools (air drivers, wrenches, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Ship finished goods from assembly using correct system steps and documentation.
• Receive and stock inbound materials into inventory with accurate Epicor transactions.
• Record all material movements in Epicor to safeguard inventory integrity.
• Operate gas or electric forklifts (Reach and Counterbalance) and related material handling equipment.
• Load and unload semi trailers.
• Support other related assignments and projects as needed.
