Raw Material Inventory Control
About The Position
This position is responsible for monitoring and managing raw material usage across production lines, comparing it against production output, and tracking variances between planned and actual material consumption. The role involves conducting regular audits of raw material use, storage, and losses, identifying trends in material overuse or loss, and recommending corrective actions. Key duties also include maintaining accurate consumption data in SAP and preparing weekly and monthly reports on raw material usage and efficiency metrics. The individual will also perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Understanding of production processes and material flow.
- Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities, results driven and self-motivated.
- Dependability, accountability, and responsiveness are essential.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SAP.
- High School degree or equivalent required.
- 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
