About The Position

The Inventory Control Manager will lead and enforce inventory control policies and best practices, oversee daily tasks and productivity of the inventory control team, and create and implement cycle count programs and stock replenishment schedules. This role involves conducting frequent reconciliation efforts to maintain inventory accuracy, investigating and resolving inventory discrepancies and defective inventory issues, and partnering with operations leadership to refine warehouse layout and flow. The manager will also lead inventory consolidation efforts and manage replenishment logistics. Additionally, the role requires maintaining active communication with clients to meet inventory service level agreements (SLAs), addressing client concerns and escalations related to inventory KPIs, and collaborating with external and internal stakeholders to ensure inventory expectations are met. The manager will be responsible for recruiting, training, and coaching inventory control team members, assigning, managing, and monitoring projects and day-to-day activities, providing performance feedback, coaching, and corrective action when necessary, and enforcing safe work practices and supporting a safety-first culture. Ensuring compliance with OSHA, sanitation standards, and internal policies, auditing incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy and completeness, and maintaining inventory records using WMS systems, scanners, and manual processes are also key responsibilities.
